Asian

The Orient is the theme for this week's Sunday Postcard Art Challenge.

I love Asian art and wanted to incorporate a few of the most common elements in traditional painting.  Fun!

The central figure is one I scanned from a library book on (what else?) Asian art.  It was published in 1923.

Thanks for the challenge and thanks for looking!

  3. Kim, this will be my favorite this week, I am sure!! Love the concealed image, although those black slippers and white socks give her ethnicity away, don't they? Great color palette to continue to intrigue. Applause! Applause!

  4. Wonderful background - it goes so well with the focal image. I feel that chilly wind and rain.
