Photo Portrait

This week's Sunday Postcard Art Challenge is to use a photograph.  I love this evocative studio photo of Vanessa Bell taken in 1902.

Vanessa Bell was an English painter (and sister to Virginia Woolf).

Original photo by GC Beresford.

  5. Hi, Kim, I had not heard of Vanessa Bell (though, of course, I had heard of Virginia Wolff!), so your postcard sent me to the internet to learn a little something! I saw the original photo and love the additions that you added to bring it forward more than 100 years! Just lovely! Well done!
